Qld:Death man have slipped and fallen, say police
BRISBANE, Aug 23 AAP - A man found lying in a pool of blood on the Gold Coast appearedto have died accidentally, police said today.
The 28-year-old man was found outside the Donto Sopporo Restaurant on the Gold CoastHighway at Broadbeach late yesterday.
Police said the death was investigated as suspicious but it appeared he may have slippedin yesterday's rain and fallen, hitting his head.
"It appears that it was an accident and there is no evidence of foul play at this stage,"
a police spokeswoman said.
The man was unconscious when he was found and rushed to Gold Coast Hospital at Southport,where he died.
The man's body has been taken to Brisbane for a post mortem.
